Seeking Hygienist

Cascade Dental Care is a private practice that has been around for over 50 years in the Spokane area with offices in North Spokane, South Hill and Spokane Valley.

We are seeking a skilled, ethical and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team. The position is full-time, but part-time is an option. Flexible schedule available between Monday-Thursday. The location will be the North office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform therapeutic and preventative care, educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, with a focus of providing personalized high-quality care to each of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Review patient's medical history
- Take and review dental x-rays
- Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Perform preventative dental care and periodontal therapy
- Conduct thorough assessments to recommend proper treatment
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Have a friendly and professional chairside manner

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required
- Preferred but not required proficiency in using Dentrix Imaging or Dentrix Ascend
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
- Understanding of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Experience with dental imaging systems, such as digital radiography or CAD/CAM technology, is a plus

Requirements:
- Have a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license for Washington State
